“Through My Viewfinder”
An exploration of decisive moments in photography; how the perfectly-timed shot can truly make a picture come to life. A well-structured, informative, and entertaining presentation of coloured and monochromatic images and prints.
This talk covers a wide range of subjects including sports, architecture, environmental and portraiture. I also include some background information about me, and my early images.
In this presentation you will learn some information about the techniques and equipment used for these images, applicable to both novices and experienced photographers alike, as well as hearing some amazing and humorous stories about the locations and events around the capturing of the images.

“Seeing Is Believing” (Monochrome)
My “Seeing Is Believing” monochrome special explores how by limiting our colour palette, and freeing ourselves of expectations, we can learn to appreciate the finer details and little joys within the still image.
Photographs are presented here from my various areas of photography, from architecture, to sport, to travel, and also include some detail about my journey as a photographer.
Duration: 90 minutes, excluding intervals.
Format: Prints/Projected Digital Images (PDI).
“Talk Sports”
A focus on creating impactful images from sports photography, capturing the action in a creative way. In this presentation I will share techniques and tips that will take you from standard imagery to striking pieces of work.
The presentation features stills from the worlds of athletics, para athletics, tennis, swimming, BMX and much more, captured at both local and international levels of competition, from amateur clubs to some of the biggest sporting events in the world.
Alongside the ‘hero moments’, in this talk you will also witness candid sports images captured before, during and after the event, highlighting the emotion alongside the action.
Duration: 90 minutes, excluding intervals.
Format: Prints/Projected Digital Images (PDI).
“Capturing The Imagination”
This presentation challenges the audience to see things differently. It covers a range of topics presented in a unique way, designed to draw the eye and to express the elements and stories within.
Images of landmarks and travel scenes are subverted to reveal the relationship between humans and the environment around us. Sports reportage is presented in a new way to uncover hidden drama and unique moments. Architectural depictions are reframed to expose unseen characteristics.
This presentation spans various aspects of my photography and personal projects, all underpinned by the idea that a shift in technique and composition can transform the standard photographs we are all used to seeing in talks, competitions and exhibitions.
“Capturing The Imagination” is about standing with one foot inside the box, and one foot outside. It represents my passion and the channelling of emotion in photography, and I hope it will fill you with the same inspiration.
Duration: 90 minutes, excluding intervals.
Format: Prints/Projected Digital Images (PDI).
“Through The Years”
“Through The Years” is a demonstration of storytelling through the still image, featuring powerful and striking images, many of which have been displayed around the world in exhibitions such as Master of Prints, Royal Photographic Society, FIAP and PAGB.
The presentation features many works which have been merited with some of the most prestigious of photography accolades. Alongside these, the viewer will see images created with my own personal vision, in a style not typically seen in photography clubs or presentations.
Audiences will be mesmerised by the photographs and the variety of subjects on display, including (but not limited to), travel, sports, street, environmental portrait, and many more genres of photography.
The presentation will also cover some of the techniques used to capture these images, and those used in the post-processing stage. It pairs an emotional dissection of the images with a technical insight into their production.
Duration: 90 minutes, excluding intervals.
Format: Prints/Projected Digital Images (PDI).
